How to sign J in ASL

Make an I, then draw a J in the air with your little finger: down, then curve toward you.
J is one of the two letters in the ASL alphabet that moves. The handshape alone isn't the letter; the movement is part of it.
Left-handed? Sign with your dominant hand; the shapes are the same, mirrored.
Don't mix it up
- I: J is an I that moves: the little finger draws a J in the air.
Now sign it yourself
Make the handshape and draw the J. Turn on your camera and it checks your handshape as you go. The video stays on your device.
