How to sign Y in ASL

Hold your thumb and little finger out, with the middle three fingers curled.
Hold Y steady for a moment, with your palm facing the person you're signing to.
Left-handed? Sign with your dominant hand; the shapes are the same, mirrored.
Don't mix it up
- I: Y sticks the thumb out as well as the little finger; in I the thumb stays across the fingers.
Now sign it yourself
Make the handshape and hold it. Turn on your camera and it checks your handshape as you go. The video stays on your device.
Remember it, don't just copy it
